How does one know that the guy you meet is or will be the man you are destined to spend the rest of your life with? I had a friend telling me that she heard violins playing when she met “him”. And apparently thats when she knew “he” was “the one”. I would say she was hallucinating(so much for my degree in psychology).  Another friend said that she was carrying a tray and she tripped and “he” caught her and one look into “his” eyes and she knew “he” was the man because she “fell” in love! Which actually made me wonder if its the first time she ever fell and whether nobody has caught her before she fell!? And i thought it all happened only in movies

Really, how do I identify “him”?! No, not that I have seen many a prospect. But I get the jitters when my dad calls up to say that there is a new proposal. When I see a photo of the prospect-to-be, I keep looking for a sign like an arrow pointing to his photo or a halo above his head or try to listen for some background music like bells or violins or sometimes I go out and look at the photo thinking maybe a gush of wind(like in the movies) might just be the sign! If you are wondering whether I am dumb enough to do all this, I really have looked for all of the above. Trust me!

Again, how do I know if and when I meet “him” that it really is “him”. Ugh! If only god had some board or tag on everyone that said “Reserved for ___”. How wonderful life would be?! More than wonderful, I think it would have been more convenient. Would have saved a lot of time!

🙂 I know I made you laugh today.

There is a deep and cosmological connection between my birth, my parent's decision to name me what they did, my profession and my education. This brings me to the conclusion that fate is predetermined and like in Hindu mythology, is written by Brahma when someone is born. Example: My name is unique. I did my grads in Psychology. I then did my masters in HR (offshoot of following all the psychos). I then did the ultimate decision of joining an MNC in ............. beat it, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT. So, I have the concept 'MAD' in my name, my education, my choice of career and all the milestone decisions of my life. Now, is it predetermined or what ? :-D
